Overall history:
Born and raised by her parents in Illden, Erladiel was your common middle-class Elvish girl. Her father Haemir had had great expectations for his one and only child, but from a young age, Erladiel had her own agenda. When forced to learn how to play various instruments, the girl reluctantly obeyed, but stole to the forest whenever she could. There, she met a human who taught her how to use a bow and arrows, along with a sword.
Over the next few years, she became well trained in combat and skilled in hunting. As Erladiel had been noticeably absent most of the time, her father investigated and found his worst nightmare had become true. His daughter had fallen in love with the human tutor. Neither the girl nor the boy knew about Haemir's knowledge of the affair. One day, Haemir went back to the forest to find them once again. This time, he was prepared with weapons. Needless to say, the father killed Erladiel's lover.
After many months of mourning, Erladiel stole away from home, not able to face her father again. She went into the forest and vowed never to return to the Elvish city. In the forest, she once happened upon a robbery. She tried to save the human against his attackers, but failed when the human bled out and died. Not wanting to waste his supplies, she took the remainder of his belongings, including his horse which she named Rea. Since then, she has been wandering the forest aimlessly, hoping to fall in love once again.
Hi, my chat account is Aly.
I am 17 and I've been role-playing for about five years.
The soft undergrowth crunched beneath the mare's feet, scattering various creatures living nearby. Its rider, an apparently regal elf, sighed. "It's okay, Rea. There's a lake up ahead where we can stop." In response, the buckskin mare snorted. Rolling her eyes, Erladiel snorted back playfully. "I know you're tired, and so am I." Gracefully, she slid from the horse's back, taking the reins with her. "Now come on, you lazy lump." The lake was not far, and she was glad for a chance to stretch her legs. After a few more minutes of walking, the blue expanse of a lake drew before them. "See, Rea?" The elf pushed the horse's neck playfully. "We're here." The horse tossed her head, loosening Erladiel's grip on the reins and ran to the shore, plunging into the water until it reached her knees. "Rea! My stuff!" She pelted after her friend and carefully extracted the saddle, weapons, and pack off the mare's back. "If you do that again," Her voice was stern as she looked into the horse's eyes. "I will leave you here." Turning, she waded back to the shore, holding her belongings above her head. They were all she had left of this world, and was not going to lose them. Her dress hung heavy with the weight of the water, and after she had deposited her load on the sandy ground, she lifted it over her head and threw it on the pile before running back into the cool waters.
